The Lying mouse

 Hello Everybody! In literacy we have been making kids stories. Here is my one, It is about a mouse who has overprotective parents, And without asking she goes into the forest, She gets lost but Thankfully her parents find her and everything is okay. This took Quite a long time to make and to be honest, I am actually quite proud of it. Have you ever made a childrens book at school? If you have please comment and tell me! Posters to give you Nightmares!

Lately, In Literacy, we were learning about the Genre, Horror. And we had to find posters of horror movies from the 1950s the 1980s and the 2000s AKA Present Time. We also had to write a description of why the Movies were horror movies. My Magical Google Site

Hello Bloggies!

I hope you have had a great day and a great week so far!

Lately, in Literacy we have been making Google Sites about the wizard of OZ. In our site, we had to include: Themes, Characters, and Symbols. If you are wondering what the symbols are, It's basically an object which is really important throughout the film, for example, you might do the ruby slippers on the Tin mans Axe or something like that. I haven't finished my Google site yet but when I have I will edit this post and I will put the link in. But I have some photos of my progress. My Drawing of the Modern Tin Man

Hola Amigos

During online classes, we are learning about the wizard of Oz so we had to create a Tin Man. I decided to draw a modern highschool version of the Tin Man, If you are wondering why there is a heart on the paper its because In the wizard of Oz the Tin Man wants a heart. Our AMAZING Class Hub Field trip!!!

On the 29th of July Everyone was SO excited to go on our Field Trip to the City. People were all deciding who they were going to sit with on the bus, Me and my friend Zoe decided to sit together BUT when we were just about to leave our class to get on the bus the teachers said that we were going on the bus in our HOME GROUPS!!! Me and Zoe are in different home groups so we didn't get to sit together, but I still to sit with one of my friends and wouldn't YOU know her name was Zoe too! After we go there we had a quick snack 🥪 and then split up into our separate groups. A man wearing a suite then came along and he started talking about the buildings 🏗 and how they were built and I found it interesting.We then went to an office building to learn about what builders do to make sure the building is stable, and we got FREE NOTEBOOKS 📓 ( I use mine for drawing ) but it turns out one of my friends groups didn't get any notebooks. Later that day we went to Quake city to talk about the 2011 Earthquake I don't really remember the Earthquake so I paid very good attention when they were talking. At the end of the day we went on the bus 🚌 and went back to school. Now I know what builders go through we designing/making a building. If I could go back and do it again I would get 2 notebooks and give one to my friend. In conclusion I really enjoyed the field trip and I hope we go on another one soon! 😃

My Informational Report on Pangolins

Hey guys, This is what we have been working on in class during literacy. We had to pick an Endangered animal and write a report about it, I chose a Pangolin (Pronounced: Pang-Ga-Lin)  because they are are very endangered, Interesting and also really cute! My Report on Tsunamis

Hey Guys miss me? I am back with another post that I think you will enjoy as you can see it´s about Tsunamis! DUN DUN DUN!  In class we were doing the Power Of Nature and we went to different workshops to learn about the 4 parts of Nature which were Plants, Animals, Weather and Natural Disasters, after that we got to pick one of them and narrow it down, So i did Natural Disasters and narrowed it down to Tsunamis. Living springs recount

Last Wednesday everybody in Korimako went to Living Springs.I had a lot of fun.My favorite activity was Rifles and Archery but I also enjoyed the climbing wall and the animal survival game.We had some activities that we could do in our spare time,those activities were The pool,Mini golf,Trampolines and the monorail.But when we got there the monorail was broken so nobody could go on it until it was fixed, some people were disappointed but to be honest i didn't really care because i was scared to go on it in the first place.Since the Monorail was broken most people decided to go in the pool, but Mr Sutherland said only 75 people could go at a time, so when he told us to go get ready everybody rushed out of the auditorium screaming as they ran.I was the 80th person because it took me ages to find my goggles and it wasn't like anyone was helping me, so i got pretty annoyed but mr Sutherland let us in anyway.

Dry crunchy grass lay under my feet,as I felt the fresh
air running down my spine.A cold breeze filled my
nostrils and went into my mouth.The birds started
chirping on the swaying trees. ‘Swoosh Swoosh’ they
went. A smile came onto my face, it went from ear to
ear like a cheshire cat.The camera in my hand was a
bomb, about to go off at any second when I decided
to capture the amazing scenery in front of me.
