Waitangi Voki

Hi Everybody! 

How has your day been so far? Mine has been alright, Like every other day. For the past week or so we have been learning about the Treaty of Waitangi, And it had been very interesting to learn about it. We got to use a site called Voki. Voki is a site where you can use and edit characters, And then you can type a sentence and the "character" will say it to you. You can only see the upper torso of the character, But you can edit many things like The Hair Shape and colour, The Clothing, The Skin colour, The Eye colour And much more! You can even change the type of voice that the character sounds like. Anyway, we had to make a character and make them say something from the Maoris Or the British perspective. Here is mine. 100% Pure Haka

Hello Everybody!

I hope you have all had a great day and a great week so far! We are now in week 2! In class, we are learning about our country, our culture, And what makes New Zealand a unique country. We got to choose what we wanted to learn about, Our options were, The Haka, Tā moko, or Korowai (kākaku). Me and my Friend Henry, Decided to do the Haka because we thought it would be most fun to do. We learned about how the Haka has changed through the years and how the Haka was different in the Past. We had to Write down the Use of the haka, The Design of The Haka, And the Presentation. Here is what we wrote.
