Awesome animation

Kia ora bloggers! It's Maori language week, so we were told to make a Maori animation naming at least 12 things in Maori. We did our scene in a library and we named some of the things you would normally find in there. I made this animation with my friend Zoe, I did the animation and she named all the items. Aladdin

 Hey guys! How has your week been so far? Mine has been pretty good, apart from that Aladdin had to finally come to an end. After 12 weeks of learning songs, dances and lines we finally performed in front of hundreds of people. It was really fun and I am going to miss it so much, We got lots of photos and that is what I am posting today, A few of them were taken at the wrong time so I might look a little strange.  Have you ever done a production before? My superhero website

 Hey Guys!

Sorry its been a while, I have been REALLY busy with production. We are performing next week and I am very excited, anyway, I made a superhero website in literacy and I am very proud of it, we were told to research and make a website about a certain superhero, and I made my website out miraculous ladybug, yes I know it sounds really weird but it was my best option since I used to watch it a lot when I was little, anyway here is the link: Superhero Website go check it out and tell me what you think. S.T.E.A.M

 Hey Everybody!

Sorry, that I haven't been posting in a while since I have been doing a lot of work relating to the production we are doing this term. Well anyway on Wednesday we were doing science, where we had to drop an egg from a certain height and try and make it not crack. We had to do this by using materials, we were able to make it, however, we could only use certain ones. The materials we were allowed to use were:

3 Pieces of A4 paper

1 piece of A4 paper to sketch our idea

1 A5 piece of cardboard paper

Plastic bag

Wool

Tape 

Our idea was to rip and scrunch up our A4 paper and put it in our plastic bag, we then wrapped the egg up in the cardboard paper and we used tape to seal it up. We then put the cardboard paper (with the egg inside) in the plastic bag we then tied up the plastic bag and taped the handles together. We then used the remaining string and tape to wrap it up nicely. Here are some photos of the process

We then had to drop it!! 

Sadly it didn't survive, and it cracked but it was really fun to do and I enjoyed making this.

Consider... A night at the Disco

 Hey Guys!

How are you all doing? I hope you are doing good! I have already told you this on a different blog post but if you haven't seen it, We have been learning KOS or Keeping Ourselves Safe. And not just Physically But Emotionally too. In Class, We were given a comic with a scenario. And we had to draw the last frame. The Scenario was these two girls, Walking and chatting at a disco, But then 2 girls came and started talking to the Blond girl, And left the other girl out. Then the two girls tried taking the Blond girl away! I made the last scene be that the blond girl is trying to get all 4 of the girls to hang out together and not leave anybody out. I'm Not the Best artist so it might look a little weird. But this the final comic. I Hope you enjoy it and comment what you think! Have you ever made a comic before?

Waitangi Voki

Hi Everybody! 

How has your day been so far? Mine has been alright, Like every other day. For the past week or so we have been learning about the Treaty of Waitangi, And it had been very interesting to learn about it. We got to use a site called Voki. Voki is a site where you can use and edit characters, And then you can type a sentence and the "character" will say it to you. You can only see the upper torso of the character, But you can edit many things like The Hair Shape and colour, The Clothing, The Skin colour, The Eye colour And much more! You can even change the type of voice that the character sounds like. Anyway, we had to make a character and make them say something from the Maoris Or the British perspective. Here is mine. Have you ever used Voki? If not, why not give it a go. Anyway, that's all for today. See you soon.

Scenarios and Consequences

 Hello Bloggers!

Hey Guys! How was your weekend? My weekend was great, I Got a Totoro plushie from a claw machine. Anyway, on Wednesdays we have been learning KOS or Keeping Ourselves Safe, We were given a Scenario and we had to find out what our safest option would be, We got to pick our own options, I chose 2 out of the 3 I created and I think you will see why.
