Chocolates and Shapes

 Hello Friends!

I hope you are all having a great day so far, I sure am! In maths, we were making a shape able to fit a certain size. I size my 3 Mini Chocolate bars. The chocolates fit perfectly in the container I made. We made it out of paper and my shape was meant to be a drawer that you can pull out of its container. I also added a little handle to make it easier.  I used the colours yellow and white. This was really fun because we got to even eat the food that we put in our container! Here is a photo. 100% Pure Haka

Hello Everybody!

I hope you have all had a great day and a great week so far! We are now in week 2! In class, we are learning about our country, our culture, And what makes New Zealand a unique country. We got to choose what we wanted to learn about, Our options were, The Haka, Tā moko, or Korowai (kākaku). Me and my Friend Henry, Decided to do the Haka because we thought it would be most fun to do. We learned about how the Haka has changed through the years and how the Haka was different in the Past. We had to Write down the Use of the haka, The Design of The Haka, And the Presentation. Here is what we wrote.

Pink Shirt day!

 Hello everybody!

 I hope you have all had a great week so far! I sure have, This week in school I learned about Rotational Symmetry and I am writing a script for a movie I and my friends are making! Today is also Pink Shirt day, So you come to school wearing something pink,  People came to school wearing crazy things! The cause of Pink Shirt Day is to stop bullying for good! You can wear anything that is pink and I wore, A pink hat, Hair tire, Socks and shoes! Did you have a pink shirt day today? And what did you wear to support the cause?

School Holidays

 Hello everybody!

Hello Everybody!

I hope you all had a great School holiday!  I sure did, And wow! Now we are in Term 4!! In the school holidays, I went to Kakanui with Family and friends, And it took 2-3 hours to get there! While we there, We went down to the beach, And I saw a baby seal! We also went to the city at Kakanui and it was so fun! We were there for 6 days and 5 nights! During the school holidays, I also went to a second-hand clothing store and got 3 T-shirts,  A hoodie, Some black shorts, and 2 pillowcases. Well, I hope you all have an amazing day! Bye for now!

Video Essay Script

 

Hello Everybody!

I am back with another blog post! As promised. In literacy class, we are making video essays bases on the genre of a film. I decided to make my video essay on Horror. I decided to do horror because I find horror quite interesting and it is a very popular genre. I am still working on my video essay, But I promise to show you it when I am done. So This is the script I will be using for it. I hope you enjoy reading it because it took 3 weeks to write. It is 632 words long and if you don't believe me, Then have fun counting all the words! The Lying mouse

 Hello Everybody! In literacy we have been making kids stories. Here is my one, It is about a mouse who has overprotective parents, And without asking she goes into the forest, She gets lost but Thankfully her parents find her and everything is okay. This took Quite a long time to make and to be honest, I am actually quite proud of it. Have you ever made a childrens book at school? If you have please comment and tell me! I hope you all had a great day and a great week so far, I sure have. Lately we have been making kids books and kids poem.  We had to make it rhyme and make dure that kids around 5-6 years old would be interested in it. My short poem is called Betty boo.
